McCain and my Liberal text book

In my very liberal mass media text book I found a very interesting statement. The book was trying to justify a liberal law. In order to claim it was bipartisan the book quoted John McCain as a supporter of the law. I found it very interesting that McCain is used by a liberal textbook to support a liberal law.

McCains voting recoder

I did a little research on McCain's voting record in the senate according to Americans for Democratic Action (ADA). ADA is a group which scores senators on what % of their votes are liberal or not. McCain was 9th highest among all republican senators. Those that were higher were primarily from New England/North Eastern States, which one would expect to be more liberal. Most of the R Senators scored a 0.

Romney % increasing in NH

In the wake of McCain being crowned the winner of the NH primary, I have noticed an important trend over the past few hours. About 3 hours ago, when the total votes counted was %10, McCain led 37% to Romney’s 27%. Now with 83% reporting McCain has held steady at 37% while Romney has jumped to 32%. Who knows, perhaps by the time all 100% of the votes are counted the primary will end much closer than previously anticipated.

The Begining

Well, this is the first of hopefully many insightful and informative posts of my blog. I hope to give the few people that will ever read this an insight into my opinions on many subjects. Any comments or criticisms will be well received and no one will be silenced. I firmly believe in the first amendment rights, and would not prevent anyone from speaking, even if I disagree.
